There are always two sides to the story. But adults who work with children have to always remember what they may feel like doing at a particular moment, may not be the right decision.
I’m not saying that the child was uncontrollable or the teacher wasn’t overboard. You really have to analyze this closer. Even if the teacher was a great teacher or a bad one…the deed is done. They just gave up their career over something silly.
I’d like to challenge the immense pressure teachers and students are being put into. I can relate, teachers in my son’s school may also get upset if he took his shoe off his foot during class.
Are we faced with a bad teacher? A bad student? Or a bad system both the teachers and students are at wits end?
